Well, he was in deadly peril last night on American Idol. Although, since he wasn't in the group of lowest vote-getters, the peril was not quite as deadly as I feared.

I've been pleasantly surprised to note that the kid can actually sing. Plus he seems like a really nice little guy. And he dances nearly as well as his imaginary band mates in El Torpedo. I hope he stays on the show forever.

I have my fingers crossed. What's funny is, over at Television Witohut Pity, where the snark never ends, practically the only comments about Bucky are along the lines of "he seems like a nice little guy..." It's Matt and SNS all over again--if you look harmless and out of your depth, people are thrilled when you pull off a good performance.
