In case anyone was wondering, the chicken with Dijon/ginger/honey/cayenne/cinnamon sauce and cinnamon chicken actually turned out to be fairly palatable. In fact, I plan to make it again.

I'm probably very weird, but that actually sounds good to me! Of course, I already put cayenne on everything I eat, so my tastebuds might be shot :-)

Also, what is happening in your icon?

The cinnamon worked surprisingly well, too. The cayenne made it hot and the other flavours kind of gave me something to think about.

The icon shows Canadian rocker Sam Roberts in the coils of a giant snake. (I stole it from his Web site.) I've since seen him in concert so I am pretty sure the snake isn't real!

When you have the recipe perfected, put it up - I might like to try it!

Ah, O.K. I've heard of Sam Roberts. Maybe it is real, and he has this superseekrit life as a snake wrangler you just know nothing about!

Good point. This was clearly taken early in his snake-wrangling career!

I'll definitely post the recipe when I think it's ready for prime-time. I was pretty pleased with myself that it turned out to be edible!
