I can understand their point and endorse it. Because there are some songs I never, ever need to hear again.

Although I liked the way the song was used in the sentimental yet awesome World War II movie Memphis Belle. Which is not at all historically accurate, but there is much to like about it, particularly the way viewers are coaxed into really liking and worrying about the surprisingly human characters. That's a case where there should have been too many characters to keep straight but the writer made it work. I must consider this closely.
